Final Speech

From my first speech on Cy Young to my last one on genetically modified foods I feel that I have made great strides of improvements. First of all my biggest improvement that I saw was my volume and projection. For my first speech I more or less just looked down and read my note cards, glancing up every once in a while. My final speech I still had problems with just reading my note cards however I thought I looked up a lot more and projected my voice. From my first speech to this final one the amount of pauses has gone down and my speeches are smoother. I still need to work on my eye contact and my enthusiasm but I have made great stride in speech making.

How to Speech

For my how to speech on pitching I thought that I did a fair job considering my videos did not work. I thought that my eye contact and volume was better that my last speech. I felt more confident talking about something that I knew very well. I feel that I did not fiddle and pause as much as my past speeches. My first speech I rocked back and forth and I feel I did not do this this time around.
How ever, on the other hand I can still improve great amounts. I can further improve my eye contact and make direct eye contact with people opposed to just glancing. My enthusiasm also need to improve by great amounts. I need to be excited in order to get the audience interested. For my next speech I hope that I can increase my enthusiasm and continue to improve my volume and eye contact.

Informational Speech

For my second speech I did not think I did terrible but I can improve. I thought my eye contact was bad and I kept looking at my note cards for too long. I also needed a hook, instead of just going right in to my speech. I spoke clearly and slow enough but I need to improve overall enthusiasm. I need to speak louder, use more gestures and expressions during my speech.

Review of My Brown Bag Speech

After watching my speech I think that I did an OK job. I think that I could have been a little louder and more enthusiastic about the speech. I also need to stand still during my speech, I kind of swayed from side to side but I did not fidget which I'm happy with. I was a little nervous and I did not feel to well giving my speech but I did keep eye contact better than I thought I would. I can improve by standing tall, being more confident and projecting my voice more to give a better speech.
